Rowing - I have tried many different exercises and I maintain that rowing is one of the most efficient and interesting overall activities you can do. I have lost around 35 pounds in the last 9 months (actually 45 because i gained 10 over the holidays) and 10 more to go. I attribute this largely to rowing.

Positives
Rowing is not weight bearing I weigh in at 250 lbs and jogging leads to rapid problems in my joints. Even during my university days …young knees and ankles… jogging was a struggle for me.
Great scenery Rowing on rivers, lakes and harbors provides interesting and varied scenery. I love the fresh air and water makes for a great break from city life.
Entertaining Even on the machine I can catch up on news, chill to music or watch a movie.
